We Are Looking For

As an HSE Project Manager, you will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices across the project site. This role is responsible for safeguarding employees, the environment, and company assets by enforcing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, performing workplace inspections, delivering safety training, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety regulations. You will work closely with the Country HSE Manager and project teams to maintain a strong safety culture and achieve a Zero Harm workplace.

Your Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to, regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated effectively to all site personnel
  • Enforce compliance with company requirements on PPE usage, welfare standards, housekeeping, and general site safety rules
  • Support the company in meeting its statutory obligations in all areas related to health, safety, and welfare at work, including ensuring completion of mandatory training
  • Participate in incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Ensure safety signage and banners are properly displayed and, in a language, understandable to all employees
  • Organize monthly safety campaigns, safety competitions, quizzes, and recognition activities to promote workforce engagement in safety
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections, monitor fire safety systems and drill, verify risk assessments and safe work procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Attend Toolbox Meetings with subcontractors and carry out site safety inductions for new workers when required
  • Prepare concise reports and submit findings and recommendations to the Site HSE Manager on all HSE-related matters
  • Assist the construction and project teams in fulfilling day-to-day safety and environmental requirements on-site
  • Promote and reinforce a positive safety culture through continuous communication, feedback, and participation in HSE programs

Qualities You Should Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, HSE, Public Health, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as HSE Manager for construction in large-scale projects, data center, or energy sector will be beneficial.
  • Must possess a valid General Occupational Health and Safety Expert Certificate (Ahli K3 Umum or Ahli K3 Konstruksi) issued by the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker).
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001, SMK3, Indonesian HSE regulations and relevant international standards.
  • Proven experience in managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills with the ability to influence all levels of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Suite applications.
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
