HSE Engineer

The HSE Engineer role primarily exists to guide & govern BSL HSE System & Standard and Government HSE Legislation within coated business and provide technical and operational HSE support to ensure that manufacturing activities are conducted safely, legally compliant, environmentally responsible, and in accordance with company HSE standards, while continuously improving risk controls and HSE performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and comply with Occupational Health Safety & Environment (OHSE) Policy, Quality & Environmental Management System, BSL Policy, Code of Conduct (How We Work), Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) and Government Regulations.
• Guide & govern implementation BSL HSE policy, management system, code of practice, audit system
• Guide & govern Government Regulatory requirements.
• Assist development HSE plan with site management & monitor performance
• Provide report to HSE Manager, Site Management, Country Management, Regional Office, Head Office, Government
• Provide HSE data analysis & advice to site committee
• Assist development HSE improvement at plant & department level
• Liaise with external organisations on HSE matter
• Maintain cost effectiveness HSE budget
• Maintain Risk Control (BSL CoP, Critical Procedures, Eliminate / Reduce High / Critical Risk)
  
  

Qualification And/or Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree of HSE / Engineering Major
• Min experience 5 years HSE Operational & management system in heavy manufacturing industry
• Excellent understanding HSE Management System (SMK3) and ISO-14001
• Government or international HSE Certified (AK3U)
• Internal Auditor Certified (ISO 14001 & SMK3)
  
  

Preferred Qualification And/or Experience Required

• Good English, computer skill, reporting skill
• Good delivery training skill & conduct independent incident investigation & audit
• Ability to work under less supervision & control various work scope
• Ability to deal with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Operation / manufacturing / environment process experience is good advantage
