Job Role

The HRBP Director will play a strategic leadership role in building and strengthening the organization's Human Resources function while serving as a trusted business partner to executive leadership.

Reporting directly to the Founder/CEO, this position is responsible for developing HR strategies, establishing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor regulations, managing employee relations, and driving organizational development initiatives.

This role is best suited for an experienced HR leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is comfortable operating within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with executive leadership on people strategy and organizational planning.
  • Develop HR initiatives aligned with business objectives and long-term growth.
  • Advise management on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and people-related risks.
  • Build and strengthen the overall HR function to support business expansion.
  • Develop and implement HR governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and employee regulations.
  • Standardize HR processes and best practices across the organization.
  • Establish clear accountability structures and performance management systems.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with Indonesian labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and provide recommendations to management.
  • Identify and mitigate employment-related risks while maintaining proper HR documentation.
  • Lead employee relations, disciplinary actions, restructuring initiatives, and organizational change management.
  • Handle complex employee cases while providing practical and compliant HR solutions.
  • Support dispute resolution and industrial relations matters when required. Review and standardize employment agreements, including PKWT, PKWTT, and other employment documentation.
  • Develop appropriate employment frameworks for employees and management-level positions.
  • Ensure all employment documentation meets legal and organizational standards.
  • Design and implement performance management systems and accountability frameworks.
  • Support leadership in establishing clear KPIs, responsibilities, and organizational structures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and employee performance.
  • Foster a professional, collaborative, and high-performance work culture.

Candidate Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Psychology, Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in senior HR leadership, HR Business Partner, or equivalent strategic HR roles.
  • Experience within real estate, property development, hospitality, construction, or other project-based industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience working directly with executive leadership, founders, or C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law, employment regulations, and HR compliance.
  • Hands-on experience managing employment contracts, employee relations, and HR governance frameworks.
  • Experience handling disciplinary matters, restructuring, organizational change, and employment risk management.
  • Familiarity with industrial relations and government employment regulations is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience developing HR policies, organizational structures, and performance management systems.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute operational HR initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
