About the role

Join Kerry's Indonesia HRBP & Manufacturing Site Leadership Team and play a strategic role in shaping the future of our business. You will drive profitable and sustainable growth by ensuring Kerry has the right leadership, talent, and capabilities to execute business strategy effectively.

As a HR Business Partner, you will work closely with site and business leaders to influence organizational effectiveness, talent development, and employee engagement across our Cikarang and Karawang operations. This role offers the opportunity to deliver best-in-class HR practices, foster an inclusive and high-performing culture, and leverage shared services to achieve operational excellence.

You will be a key partner in shaping the people agenda, driving initiatives that have real business impact, and contributing to a workplace where employees can grow, thrive, and succeed.

Key responsibilities

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead execution of organizational effectiveness initiatives aligned with business strategy.
  • Drive the people and organization design aspects of change programs.
  • Review workforce structure and staffing levels to ensure cost effectiveness and role clarity, in partnership with the Factory Manager.
  • Monitor key organizational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Partner with business leaders to drive high performance and achievement of site KPIs.

Leadership & Talent

  • Deliver talent priorities aligned with business strategy, including workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Coach and challenge people leaders on talent decisions and organizational planning.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on strategic resourcing and validation of open roles.
  • Participate in assessment and selection of critical leadership roles.
  • Drive site-level training and development initiatives, including Quality, Safety, Environmental, and behavioural capability programs.

Reward

  • Partner with Reward COE to implement compensation, benefits, and recognition programs aligned with business needs.
  • Advise and coach business leaders on total reward decisions.
  • Provide business insights to inform reward strategy and effectiveness.
  • Compliance, Employee Relations & Experience
  • Partner with people leaders and unions to foster an inclusive and compliant work environment.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including execution of survey action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour law, employee relations practices, and international standards (e.g., SMETA, RBA).
  • Contribute to maintenance and continuous improvement of management systems (e.g., Social Safety, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, GMP).
  • Collaborate with COEs and GBS to drive a positive and seamless employee experience.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support regional and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
  • Undertake ad-hoc HR projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field.
  • Minimum 810 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a factory/manufacturing HRBP role.
  • Proven experience within an FMCG or multinational manufacturing environment, preferably in a unionized setting.
  • Demonstrated experience advising plant leadership teams on
    • Organizational design and workforce planning
    • Industrial relations and union negotiations
    • Change management initiatives
    • Talent and succession planning
  • Strong working knowledge of Indonesian labour law, collective labour agreements (PKB), and industrial dispute resolution processes.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex employee relations cases, union engagements, and labour compliance audits (e.g., SMETA, RBA, RFA/Rainforest Alliance, or equivalent)
  • Ability to liaise effectively with government bodies (e.g., Ministry of Manpower, BPJS) and relevant industry HR communities to support compliance, labor relations, and HR initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with COEs (Reward, Talent, TA, GBS) within a matrix organization.
  • Exposure to ISO standards, GMP, HACCP or similar compliance-driven manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting leadership teams in KPI-driven, performance-focused manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Fluent business-level Bahasa Indonesia and English.
