Summary:
This position is concerned with supervision and monitor the work of the room attendants assigned to the floors according to the standard set by Management
What will I be doing
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping Department by ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire hotel. Specifically, a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Allocate daily assignment to Room Attendants
- Conducts morning briefings to Room Attendants
- Check daily occupancy reports
- Reads logbooks and follow up as required
- Updates logbook and communicates important information
- Follow up on trace reports for special guests requests, VIP rooms and carries hem out
- Inspects check out rooms before reporting them ready for sale after Room Attendants have cleaned it according to set standard.
- Daily room checking including check on occupied/long stay guests rooms, out of order and service rooms and vacant inspected rooms
- Inspects all areas, corridors, pantries, service areas, staircases and ensure they are clean at all times
- Checks and order supplies for designated floors
- To report to Engineering of any maintenance job and follow up to ensure job is completed
- Lead team to work thoroughly to achieve or even exceed guest expectations
- Sense of urgency to react on guest comments through online survey
- To ensure that all Lost and Found items are recorded according to procedure set
