Job Description

Organization- Keraton at The Plaza

Summary

  • Responsible for the efficient overall operation of the hotel, in line with Hyatt's purpose: to care for people so they can be their best
  • Ensures delivery of brand signature experiences while meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations
  • Oversees all hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and support departments
  • Drives operational excellence and ensures all departments achieve established service and financial targets
  • Maintains consistent adherence to Hyatt brand standards across both Grand Hyatt Jakarta and Keraton at The Plaza
  • Monitors guest satisfaction and implements continuous improvement initiatives
  • Leads and supports department heads to achieve high performance and service quality
  • Ensures effective cost control, budgeting, and revenue management in collaboration with Finance and Revenue teams
  • Strengthens employee engagement, development, and retention through strong leadership and coaching
  • Ensures compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards
  • Represents the hotel in the local community, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners
  • Supports strategic planning and execution to drive business growth and brand positioning in the Jakarta luxury market

Qualifications

  • University degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, or in a similar leadership role in a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong background in Rooms and/or Food & Beverage operations
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
  • Excellent understanding of luxury guest expectations and service delivery
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Prior experience with international hotel brands, preferably Hyatt, is an advantage
  • Familiarity with the Jakarta market and luxury segment is preferred
