conventional luxury hotel. It is a carefully orchestrated environment where service is

The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager with 5-star luxury hotel

experience to lead Casa Tuya from pre-opening through launch and ongoing

operations.

This role requires a balance of operational excellence, emotional intelligence,

leadership, and aesthetic sensitivity. The General Manager will work closely with the

Founder and play a pivotal role in shaping culture, service philosophy, and the

overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Culture

Lead by example, embodying Casa Tuya's values and service philosophy

Build, inspire, and mentor a high-performing, service-driven team

Foster a calm, grounded, emotionally intelligent leadership culture

Operations & Pre-Opening:

Oversee all pre-opening planning, SOP development, hiring, and training

Ensure seamless daily operations across villas, restaurant, wellness, and

guest experience

Maintain impeccable standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation

Guest Experience

Deliver a deeply personalized, intuitive guest journey

Ensure guests feel recognized, cared for, and genuinely at home

Oversee Guest Experience Organizer (GEOs) and personalized service

rituals

Financial & Commercial Oversight:

Manage budgets, forecasting, payroll, and cost controls

Collaborate on pricing, positioning, and revenue strategy

Balance profitability with uncompromising guest experience

Brand & Representation:

Uphold international 5-star luxury standards

Act as brand ambassador with guests, partners, and the local community

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience

810+ years in luxury hospitality leadership

Proven experience as General Manager or senior operational leader

Background in 5-star luxury hotels, boutique resorts, or wellness-focused

properties

Pre-opening experience strongly preferred

Personal Attributes

Calm, grounded, emotionally intelligent leader

Warm, present, and highly guest-focused

Detail-oriented with strong operational discipline

Comfortable working closely with a Founder

Passion for wellness, intentional living, and experiential hospitality

Skills

Strong financial and operational acumen

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Fluent English required (additional languages a plus)

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Compensation will be structured based on experience, location, and contract

type. Candidates are invited to include salary expectations with their

application.

Performance-Based Bonus: Annual bonus tied to operational performance,

financial results, and guest satisfaction KPIs

Accommodation Support: Housing or housing allowance provided (if applicable)

Relocation Package: Available for the right candidate
