Role SummaryThe Host Growth Specialist is responsible for driving the acquisition of high-quality, high-potential hosts that can generate long-term value within the Worldpackers ecosystem.

This role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and converting hosts with strong potential for supply generation, revenue, and scalability. The Specialist ensures that new hosts meet strategic criteria aligned with market demand, quality standards, and long-term growth potential.

Rather than focusing on volume alone, this role prioritizes acquiring hosts that can generate consistent activity, strong traveler demand, and long-term engagement on the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Host Acquisition

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential hosts in priority markets and regions
  • Prioritize hosts with strong potential for generating multiple trips, high demand, and long-term value
  • Qualify leads based on structured criteria (infrastructure, capacity, experience quality, location, and scalability)
  • Focus acquisition efforts on hosts aligned with Worldpackers ICP and growth strategy

Pipeline Management & Conversion

  • Manage the full acquisition funnel from prospecting to host approval
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM, ensuring visibility of pipeline health and progress
  • Continuously optimize conversion across channels (outbound, referrals, inbound), identifying bottlenecks and improving performance
  • Develop and nurture referral pipelines with high-performing partners and hosts

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Provide insights on market trends, host quality, and traveler demand to refine acquisition strategy
  • Identify gaps in supply and opportunities to expand into new niches or regions
  • Work closely with internal teams to align acquisition efforts with demand and product strategy

Quality & Handoff

  • Ensure only qualified, high-potential hosts are approved and passed forward
  • Maintain high standards for trust, ethics, and experience quality
  • Guarantee a smooth and structured handoff to Account Managers and Onboarding teams

Performance & Reporting

  • Track and report acquisition performance, including CAC, activation rates, and host quality metrics
  • Monitor LTV indicators of newly acquired hosts to validate acquisition quality
  • Continuously refine targeting and qualification criteria based on performance data
