Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Equipment Mechanic role based in West Java Area. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a range of heavy machinery and vehicles used in construction projects. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting troubleshooting, replacing or repairing defective parts, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The role involves keeping accurate maintenance records, coordinating with operators and supervisors on equipment needs, and adhering to company safety standards and procedures. The mechanic may also support emergency repairs on-site to minimize equipment downtime and contribute to planning preventive maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance, with the ability to perform regular inspections and preventive servicing.
• Hands-on experience working with Heavy Equipment, including familiarity with construction machinery and related systems.
• Proficiency in Equipment Repair and Troubleshooting to diagnose faults and complete timely, high-quality repairs.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems commonly found in heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
• Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to safety regulations and use of appropriate protective equipment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operators, supervisors, and other team members.
• Relevant technical or vocational training in mechanics, automotive, or heavy equipment maintenance; prior experience in construction or equipment rental environments is an advantage.
