Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in insurance, healthcare, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to integrity.
- Familiarity with health insurance products and medical terminology is an advantage.
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
- Analyze medical information, health history, and lifestyle factors to evaluate insurance applications.
- Determine appropriate coverage, premiums, and terms based on underwriting guidelines.
- Work closely with brokers, agents, and medical professionals to gather information and clarify details.
- Explain underwriting decisions and processes clearly to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, medical advances, and Zurichs guidelines to improve risk assessment quality.
- Accurately document decisions and maintain confidential records in line with regulatory standards.
