Responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with regulations, and the implementation of health and safety protocols to protect employees.
Conducts Health & Safety Inspections
Regularly inspects the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. This includes examining equipment, processes, and work areas to spot unsafe practices or conditions.
Compliance Monitoring
Supports HSE Manager tostay updated on safety regulations and ensure that the workplace complies with all relevant health and safety laws.
Implement, and support HSE related activities.
Organizes, maintains, directs, supervises and controls program/plan with objective to improve implementation of safety for reaching Zero Accident and safety awareness of employee's Improvement, Maintain weekly or monthly basis follow up action from HSE audits, safety walks or another audit related with Health and Safety.
Work and Process Safety
Actively checks and participates in the various PSM program elements, support HSE Manager to identify hazard related to work and process safety, also collaboration with Engineering department to check PSM (Process Safety Management) element. Involves in HAZOP Process safety discussion and JSA (Job Safety Analysis), proactively maintains and reviews work & process safety related to the Plant Operation to identify potential risks. Proposes to take prompt necessary corrective actions when unsafe work and process safety conditions or practices are observed and or reported in HSE Manager.
Health and Safety Culture
Supervises safety culture based on a risk-based approach, and provide coaching to workers to improve behavior related to occupational health and safety.
PPE Control
Identifies, Inspects, monitors, and controls required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to support department needs based on risk assessment and Safety Data Sheet. Review PPE quality and maintains PPE replenishment orders to guarantee sufficient stock to keep HSE compliance.
