We are currently looking for a senior technology leader to oversee the company's engineering and IT infrastructure landscape, driving technology strategy, platform scalability, engineering excellence, and infrastructure modernization
Experience
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in technology engineering and IT infrastructure leadership, preferably within complex, high-scale technology environments.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale infrastructure, core engineering, and technology platforms with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, microservices, observability, cloud-native architecture, and modern engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic technology leadership, influence senior stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across business and technology functions.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and people development capabilities.
Competency / Knowledge / Skills
1. Strategic Technology Leadership
- Serve as a strategic technology advisor to the CTO and Senior Management, providing insights and recommendations on engineering and infrastructure priorities.
- Define and execute the technical vision, engineering strategy, and execution roadmap for products and technology platforms.
- Lead technology modernization initiatives, including observability, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native transformation.
- Establish a culture focused on reliability, scalability, performance, and engineering excellence.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Business, and other stakeholders to translate business priorities into effective technology roadmaps.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective engineering solutions, balancing speed of delivery with long-term sustainability.
2. Engineering & Technology Solutions
- Oversee the end-to-end product engineering lifecycle, covering architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, microservices, observability, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Ensure technology platforms deliver high levels of performance, security, scalability, and availability to support internet-scale operations.
- Establish engineering standards, architecture principles, and best practices across product and platform teams.
- Balance short-term business delivery requirements with long-term technical investments and platform scalability.
3. IT Infrastructure & Cloud
- Define and lead the cloud and IT infrastructure strategy, covering compute, storage, networking, and supporting technology platforms.
- Ensure high levels of resilience, availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery across critical technology platforms.
- Lead capacity planning, infrastructure performance optimization, and technology cost management.
- Drive proactive infrastructure risk management, including vulnerability management, patching, security hardening, and risk mitigation across technology environments.
- Continuously assess infrastructure capabilities and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and modernization.
4. Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, and engineering teams, ensuring strong technical and leadership capabilities.
- Build a high-performing engineering culture centered around accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear career development frameworks, conduct performance evaluations, and actively develop and retain high-caliber technology talent.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and effective communication across engineering, product, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
- Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors, partners, and service providers, including commercial agreements, contracts, and performance management.
