Head of Technology & Digital Transformation is responsible for driving enterprise-wide digital initiatives and shaping technology strategies that strengthen operational effectiveness, accelerate innovation, and enable sustainable business growth. This role works closely with senior leaders to translate business priorities into scalable, secure, and future-ready digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall IT and digital transformation strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on technology direction, digital capabilities, and system architecture
- Review and re-engineer business processes to improve efficiency, integration, and digital maturity
- Identify and implement automation and digital solutions to enhance productivity and operational performance
- Plan, develop, and govern IT systems, applications, and digital platforms across the organization
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems
- Monitor technology trends and assess their potential impact and value to the business
- Establish and oversee IT governance, policies, and compliance with internal and external standards
- Lead cross-functional digital improvement initiatives and transformation projects
- Build, develop, and manage a high-performing IT team and external technology partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (advanced degree is an advantage)
- Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation and large-scale technology initiatives
- Experience within manufacturing or non-technology-driven industries is strongly preferred
- Strong expertise in business process analysis and system optimization
- Solid understanding of enterprise applications, cloud environments, data analytics, and cybersecurity
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and industrial digital solutions
- Proven project management and system implementation experience
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic and forward-thinking mindset with a strong focus on long-term value creation
