Head of Supply & Distribution
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Supply to lead our end-to-end fuel supply chain strategy and ensure a safe, reliable, cost-efficient, and resilient supply network that supports business growth and delivers outstanding customer service.
Reporting to senior management, this role is responsible for overseeing fuel procurement, supply planning, logistics, inventory management, supplier performance, and supply chain optimization while ensuring full compliance with HSSE standards, product quality requirements, and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead Supply Planning through the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure supply security.
- Manage fuel procurement activities, including sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, commercial coordination, and supply continuity.
- Oversee terminal replenishment, transportation, logistics, and product distribution across the retail network.
- Optimize inventory levels, storage utilization, working capital, and inventory accuracy while minimizing product losses and stock-outs.
- Drive supply chain efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives, logistics optimization, digitalization, and data analytics.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with fuel suppliers, terminal operators, shipping companies, transport providers, logistics partners, and inspection agencies.
- Monitor supply chain costs, including transportation, logistics, inventory holding, terminal utilization, demurrage, and product shrinkage, while identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure full compliance with HSSE standards, product quality requirements, and applicable regulations, including Oil & Gas, Customs, transportation, mandatory stock, and biofuel regulations.
- Lead emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity planning related to supply operations.
- Manage departmental budgeting, performance reporting, talent development, and succession planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or another related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Supply Operations, Logistics, Procurement, Trading, or Distribution within the downstream oil & gas, energy, petrochemical, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing nationwide fuel supply operations, ensuring supply reliability, operational efficiency, and business continuity.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis management, emergency response, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Experience supporting retail network expansion, terminal development, or supply infrastructure projects will be a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership capability with excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
