Our client is a leading global logistics and freight forwarding group, expanding its presence in Indonesia with a new strategic branch. They are seeking an entrepreneurial Branch Manager / Head of Sales to lead the setup, build the sales team, and drive commercial and P&L performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive strategies to win new customers and grow the business in Batam Island.
• Build strong relationships with multinational and regional industrial clients.
• Focus on key sectors including Automotive, Industrial, Electronics, and Manufacturing.
• Lead major RFQs and logistics tenders across Ocean Freight, Customs, and Contract Logistics.
• Develop strong partnerships with shipping lines, transport providers, and logistics partners.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive revenue and profitability.
• Build and lead a high-performing sales and customer service team from the ground up.
• Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
• Create a positive, motivated, and results-driven team culture.
• Work closely with country and regional teams to support business growth.
• Ensure smooth transition from sales to operations and excellent customer service.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and service performance.
• Provide regular updates on business performance, market trends, and opportunities.

Requirements :

• Over 10 years of experience in international logistics industry (freight forwarding, warehousing) and 5 years of managerial experience.
• Proven experience in branch setup and strong understanding of P&L management
• Port operations, ocean freight, customs, and industrial markets.
• Excellent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
