Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and increase market share.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional sales managers and representatives to exceed performance targets.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities, penetrate existing markets, and expand distribution channels to drive sales growth.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with financial objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to align promotional campaigns with sales goals and with supply chain to ensure product availability.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales team performance and overall department success.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales forecasting tools.
    • Strategic thinker, results-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
