Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and increase market share.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of regional sales managers and representatives to exceed performance targets.
- Revenue Growth: Identify new business opportunities, penetrate existing markets, and expand distribution channels to drive sales growth.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with financial objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to align promotional campaigns with sales goals and with supply chain to ensure product availability.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales team performance and overall department success.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales forecasting tools.
- Strategic thinker, results-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
