Head of Research And Development

PERSOL Indonesia is currently looking for Research Development and this role will take place in East Java

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Division Head to lead Research & Development initiatives across multiple product categories. This role will be responsible for driving the company's innovation agenda, overseeing the end to end New Product Development process, and ensuring the successful commercialization, renovation, and optimization of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall R&D strategy, aligned with the company's business strategy and growth objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of innovation roadmaps, new product pipelines, and product portfolio strategies.
• Oversee end to end New Product Development activities, from ideation and concept development through product launch and commercialization.
• Drive product commercialization initiatives, ensuring products meet quality, cost, timeline, and market requirements.
• Lead product renovation, improvement, and optimization programs to strengthen product competitiveness and lifecycle performance.
• Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities while maintaining product quality, consumer value, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer needs, competitive landscapes, emerging technologies, and industry developments to identify new innovation opportunities.
• Translate consumer insights and market opportunities into actionable R&D and innovation initiatives.
• Manage and prioritize multiple R&D projects across different product categories, ensuring effective allocation of resources and achievement of business objectives.
• Establish effective collaboration with key stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and other relevant functions.
• Provide strategic recommendations and communicate R&D progress, risks, opportunities, and business impact to senior management and executives.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure R&D activities comply with relevant quality, safety, regulatory, and company standards.
