Job Description
As a Head of QA/QC, your main responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Managing laboratory operations, including testing and analysis procedures.
- Developing and implementing quality control systems and protocols.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality.
- Monitoring and reporting on quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements in all laboratory activities.
- Providing guidance and training to the QA/QC team.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives for quality and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Head Of QA/QC Will Have
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years QA/QC experience in manufacturing, including 5 years in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, HACCP, and GMP.
- Experience managing QA/QC laboratories and product testing activities.
- Proven track record in quality system implementation and continuous improvement.
- Experienced in internal, supplier, and certification audits.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
