Location: Full time onsite Artisan HQ - Ungasan, Bali, Indonesia (multi-island operations across Bali & Lombok)

Reports to: Co-Managing Directors

Team: 3 Purchasing Officers, 2 Purchasing Assistants

About Us

The Artisan Group is a fast-growing multi-brand hospitality group operating across Bali and Lombok. Our portfolio spans 6 venues (soon 7), including Artisan, Papi Sapi, Sunda with Rumah Seseh opening April 2027. We build distinctive food, beverage and hospitality experiences at scale, and we are looking for a senior operator to own procurement across the entire group.

The Role

We are seeking a Head of Purchasing to lead and professionalise procurement across all venues. This is a senior leadership position responsible for cost control, supplier strategy, systems integrity and team performance. You will own the full purchasing function, manage a team of five, and build the controls and accountability that allow the group to scale without compromising margin or quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the group purchasing function across 6 (soon 7) venues, managing 3 Purchasing Officers and 2 Purchasing Assistants
• Own supplier sourcing, negotiation and relationship management to secure best pricing, quality and reliability
• Oversee MarketMan reconciliation, ensuring accuracy between orders, deliveries, invoices and stock
• Build and enforce purchasing controls, approval workflows and segregation of duties to safeguard against loss and error
• Manage group-wide cost of goods, identify savings opportunities and report on spend performance
• Standardise purchasing SOPs and pricing structures across all brands and venues
• Coordinate with Head Chef, Beverage and Operations leadership to align purchasing with menu, quality and operational needs
• Support new venue openings, including supplier setup and procurement readiness for Rumah Seseh (April 2027)
• Train, develop and hold the purchasing team accountable to clear performance standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven procurement leadership in multi-outlet hospitality, F&B or retail
• Strong track record in supplier negotiation and cost management
• Experience with purchasing/inventory systems (MarketMan or similar)
• High integrity and a sharp eye for controls, accountability and loss prevention
• Comfortable operating across multiple sites and brands in a fast-scaling environment
• Fluent English; Bahasa Indonesia strongly preferred
