Head of Product & Org Capability

The Head of Product & Org Capability owns the product management discipline across Amman Digital and builds Amman's capability to adopt and sustain digital ways of working. The role partners with the domain General Managers across Mining, Processing, Smelter and Supporting Services, models AI-first ways of working, and is accountable to the CDIO (Chief Digital & Information Officer).

• Build and lead the Product Management Function
• Lead change and adoption across Amman so digital products are taken up in the operation.
• Own the adoption budget in every business case, at the 50/50 to 60/40 build-to-adoption split.
• In terms of the Organizational Capabilty : Build Amman's capability to work in digital and AI-first ways & Run the uplift that develops operational people into citizen developers, data stewards and AI champions.
• Collaborate with the domain across Mining, Processing, Smelter and Supporting Services.
• Present product management's priorities, value and adoption performance to the Digital Steering Committee.
• Set how the Product Managers work with Digital Delivery, Platforms & Data and the TMO.
• Model AI-first ways of working across the function and build Amman's ability to use AI in product management and adoption.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Science, or a related field. Postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master's degree, MBA) is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in product management, proven experience building and leading product teams and delivering products in complex operational or industrial environments.
• Track record leading change and adoption at scale, and building an organisation's capability to work in new ways.
• Experience in mining, processing, smelting, or other asset-intensive industries would be beneficial; however, demonstrated product leadership and capability-building experience are the primary requirements.
