About The Role

AIA is seeking an experienced Head of Pension Business to lead the strategic development, commercial growth, operational excellence, and profitability of AIA Financial's Pension Business. The role is responsible for expanding market share, strengthening client relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering innovative retirement solutions for corporate and individual customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Business Strategy & Growth

• Develop and execute the pension business strategy aligned with AIA Financial's overall corporate objectives.
• Drive sustainable growth in assets under management (AUM), contributions, and membership.
• Identify new market opportunities across corporate, SME, and individual retirement segments.
• Develop strategic partnerships to enhance pension business distribution and market penetration.
• Monitor industry developments, demographic trends, and regulatory changes to shape business strategy.

2. Revenue & Profitability Management

• Own and deliver annual pension business targets, including: Contribution growth, AUM growth, New client acquisition, Profitability targets and Client retention
• Manage business P&L and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Improve operational efficiency and optimize cost-to-income ratio.

3. Distribution & Client Management

• Build strong relationships with key corporate clients, intermediaries, and strategic partners.
• Support sales teams in acquiring large corporate accounts
• Develop client retention strategies and increase up/cross-selling opportunities.

4. Regulatory & Governance Leadership

• Ensure compliance with OJK regulations and pension fund governance standards.
• Maintain robust risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Represent AIA Indonesia in industry associations, regulators, and external forums related to pensions and retirement planning.
• Ensure all pension operations comply with legal, regulatory, and fiduciary obligations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in pension funds, asset management, or wealth management
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong understanding of: Pension business, Investment fundamentals, Tax regulations, OJK regulations
• Proven track record in driving business growth and managing large corporate relationships.
