Job Description

Our portfolio is a leading healthy food & beverage chain and is continuously expanding across Indonesia, whose mission is to make healthier lifestyles more accessible through high-quality food, beverages, and exceptional customer experiences. As they continue scaling, they are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to lead operational excellence, supply chain optimization, and scalable growth across the business.

The Head of Operations will oversee end-to-end operations across all outlets and operational support functions, ensuring strong execution, operational consistency, supply chain reliability, and business scalability. This role will play a critical leadership function in strengthening operational excellence frameworks, improving cross-functional efficiency, and supporting expansion initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings strong multi-unit F&B operational leadership, hands-on operational excellence capabilities, and solid exposure to supply chain management. Exposure to brand management or customer experience-driven operations will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership & Excellence

  • Lead and oversee daily operations across all outlets to ensure operational consistency, service excellence, food quality, hygiene, and profitability.
  • Build and institutionalize operational excellence practices, including SOP optimization, process improvement, quality control, and performance management systems.
  • Drive operational efficiency initiatives to improve productivity, labor utilization, speed of service, and cost management.
  • Establish scalable operational frameworks to support rapid business expansion.

Multi-Store Operations Management

  • Manage and coach Area Managers, Store Managers, and operational support teams across all locations.
  • Conduct regular operational audits and business reviews to ensure adherence to operational and brand standards.
  • Monitor and improve key operational KPIs including sales productivity, store profitability, customer satisfaction, wastage, and labor efficiency.
  • Foster a strong culture of accountability, discipline, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

  • Oversee supply chain operations including procurement coordination, inventory planning, distribution, vendor management, and demand forecasting.
  • Ensure supply continuity, inventory accuracy, and efficient stock movement across outlets.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize food cost, reduce wastage, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality, consistency, and operational reliability.

Expansion & Scalability

  • Support new store openings from operational planning through launch execution.
  • Ensure operational readiness including manpower planning, training, supply chain setup, and SOP implementation for new outlets.
  • Partner with leadership on expansion strategy, operational scalability, and process standardization.

Brand & Customer Experience

  • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards and customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to align operational execution with brand positioning and campaign initiatives.
  • Support customer experience improvement initiatives and operational alignment with the company's healthy lifestyle positioning.
  • Exposure to brand management, retail experience standards, or consumer-facing operations will be highly valued.

Financial & Cross-Functional Management

  • Manage operational budgets and contribute to achieving company profitability targets.
  • Analyze operational and financial performance data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
  • Work closely with Finance, HR, Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams to drive business performance and organizational alignment.

Requirements

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in F&B, retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing multi-unit/store operations in a fast-paced and growing business environment.
  • Strong exposure to operational excellence and process improvement methodologies.
  • Solid experience overseeing supply chain, inventory management, procurement coordination, or distribution operations.
  • Experience in healthy F&B, café chains, QSR, lifestyle retail, or consumer brands is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to brand management, customer experience, or retail brand standards is a strong plus.
