Job Description Summary:

Experienced technology and digital transformation leader with a strong track record in developing and executing strategies, frameworks, and KPIs aligned with operational needs. Owns the end-to-end lifecycle of technology innovation, from ideation and proof of concept to pilot and full-scale rollout. Acts as a strategic partner to operations in identifying and delivering impactful digital solutions. Leads innovation initiatives leveraging Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Robotics, connectivity, and other emerging technologies, ensuring standardized, scalable, and sustainable implementation. Skilled in building roadmaps, governance frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms to drive effective and measurable technology adoption.

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute strategies, frameworks, and KPIs for new technology development and digitalization aligned with operational Upstream needs.

  • Act as the owner of the end-to-end lifecycle of new technology and digital innovation (ideation, development, POC, pilot, through to full rollout).

  • Ensure process synergy from the development stage through large-scale rollout.

  • Serve as a key partner to operations in identifying technology needs and digital solutions.

  • Lead the development of innovations based on Artificial Intelligence, IoT & Robotics, digitalization, connectivity, and other related technologies.

  • Ensure proven innovations are rolled out in a standardized, scalable, and sustainable manner.

  • Develop roadmaps, strategies, and monitoring mechanisms for more effective innovation rollouts.

  • Define frameworks, standards, and KPIs for technology development and rollout.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics), Computer Science, or other fields relevant to advanced technology and digitalization.

  • Master's degree in Technology, Digital Transformation, or Computer Science is an advantage.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technology innovation, automation, and digital transformation, including managerial experience leading development and implementation teams.

  • Strong leadership skills to lead the New Technology & Digitalization team, consisting of Development and Rollout teams.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with knowledge of AI, sensors, robotics, digitalization, and the latest technology trends.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Divisions/Directorates.

  • Having capabilities in stakeholder management (from top management to field level), change management and driving adoption, data- and risk-based decision making.

  • Proven end-to-end track record in developing new innovations and digitalization initiatives.

  • Strong sense of ownership and results-oriented (impact-driven).

  • High integrity and ability to serve as a role model in a transformation-driven culture.

  • Willing to travel to the site.
