As the organization continues to strengthen its healthcare business and expand its service offerings, they are seeking a commercially minded and strategically driven Head of Medical to lead medical operations, corporate healthcare programs, healthcare service development, and business growth initiatives.
Role Summary
The Head of Medical will serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving both clinical excellence and commercial success across the organization's healthcare services.
This role requires a medical leader who not only understands healthcare operations and clinical governance but is also able to contribute to business growth through healthcare product development, Medical Check-Up (MCU) programs, pricing strategies, healthcare solutions, and corporate client initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure healthcare services remain clinically sound, operationally effective, and commercially sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all medical operations, ensuring excellence in clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive the development, enhancement, and commercialization of healthcare products, Medical Check-Up (MCU) services, occupational health programs, and corporate healthcare solutions.
- Partner with Commercial and Business Development teams to support healthcare proposals, tenders, client presentations, and new business opportunities.
- Provide medical and operational insights to support pricing strategies, service costing, resource planning, and profitability objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand healthcare services, improve operational efficiency, and enhance revenue generation.
- Evaluate healthcare service performance, utilization trends, business opportunities, and operational outcomes to support strategic decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, key stakeholders, healthcare partners, and regulators.
- Lead, coach, and develop medical teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure successful execution of large-scale healthcare projects, including MCU programs, occupational health initiatives, and corporate healthcare engagements.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) with an active medical license.
- Minimum 10 years of experience within healthcare services, clinic operations, hospital operations, occupational health, diagnostic services, or corporate healthcare environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing medical teams, healthcare operations, or multi-site healthcare services.
- Strong exposure to Medical Check-Up (MCU) programs, occupational health services, corporate healthcare, or healthcare service development.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare business operations, pricing considerations, service profitability, and commercial healthcare solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Business Development functions.
- Master's Degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related disciplines will be an advantage.
