Job Description

Role Overview

You will own the end-to-end marketing strategy — from positioning and narrative development to demand generation and pipeline contribution. You will play a critical role in building a predictable demand engine that generates qualified enterprise buying conversations and strengthens Nimbly's positioning in Southeast Asia (SEA) and beyond.

You will work closely with the CEO, Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align messaging, accelerate deals, and establish marketing as a core commercial driver.

Responsibilities

 Strategic Positioning & Category Leadership
  • Refine Nimbly's category positioning for multi-location F&B and Retail operators.
  • Own the evolution of the company's narrative into a scalable, repeatable platform that supports regional growth and consistent market positioning across SEA.
  • Strengthen brand authority within SEA operational leadership communities.
  • Lead market and competitor research to sharpen differentiation.

 Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth
  • Build and execute a full-funnel demand strategy aligned to enterprise sales cycles.
  • Develop inbound and education-led demand creation initiatives (search, content, thought leadership, executive events).
  • Improve marketing's contribution to the qualified pipeline.
  • Elevate inbound demo quality and buyer readiness.

 Revenue Alignment & Sales Enablement
  • Partner closely with Sales to improve conversion rates and sales velocity.
  • Develop high-impact sales enablement assets (case studies, ROI tools, decks).
  • Establish measurement frameworks linking marketing initiatives to revenue outcomes.

 Infrastructure & Team Development
  • Build scalable marketing infrastructure (automation, workflows, analytics tracking).
  • Establish structured campaign planning, reporting, and performance optimization.
  • Manage internal resources and external agencies where required.
  • Build and scale the marketing department over time.

What Success Looks Like
  • Marketing becomes a predictable driver of qualified enterprise conversations.
  • Buyers enter sales discussions educated and commercially aligned.
  • Clear positioning and messaging frameworks reduce founder dependency.
  • Marketing is recognized internally as a strategic revenue partner.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience in B2B SaaS, preferably enterprise or enterprise-lite segments.
  • Proven track record building demand engines in longer sales cycle environments.
  • Experience owning revenue-linked marketing performance.
  • Deep understanding of search strategy, content-led demand creation, and marketing automation.
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
  • Experience collaborating closely with founders and senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (or open to relocation).
