Position: Head of Marketing / Growth (Social Commerce)

Location: Jakarta (preferred)

Reports to: Founder

About the Role

We are building the next generation of TikTok Shop and social commerce brands, and are looking for a founder-level growth leader to drive revenue across both client brands and internally launched brands.

The Head of Growth / Marketing will lead the Creative and Performance Marketing teams, while also acting as the strategic marketing lead for key client accounts. This role is responsible for scaling revenue through TikTok Shop, Shopee, creator ecosystems, affiliate programs, live commerce, and performance marketing.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in social commerce and creator-driven sales, and understands how to turn content, creators, and live commerce into scalable revenue.

This is a high-impact leadership role working directly with the founder, responsible for building scalable marketing systems and shaping the company's social commerce growth strategy.

Candidates based in Jakarta are preferred due to close collaboration with the marketing, creative, and content teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Growth Leadership
  • Lead and manage the Creative Team and Performance Marketing Team to deliver integrated marketing strategies.

  • Align brand storytelling with performance-driven marketing initiatives to drive measurable results.

  • Develop scalable marketing playbooks that can be applied across multiple brands.

  • Revenue & Growth Ownership
    • Own marketing-driven revenue targets across both client brands and internal brands.

    • Develop strategies to scale GMV through social commerce channels, including TikTok Shop and Shopee.

    • Continuously optimize customer acquisition, conversion, and retention performance.

  • Social Commerce Strategy
    • Build and scale growth strategies across TikTok Shop, Shopee, live commerce, and affiliate ecosystems.

    • Develop repeatable playbooks for product launches, creator campaigns, and social commerce growth.

    • Identify winning content formats, creators, and live selling strategies.

  • Creator & Affiliate Ecosystem
    • Build scalable creator and affiliate programs that drive product sales.

    • Identify and scale relationships with high-performing creators, affiliates, and live hosts.

    • Develop systems for sourcing, onboarding, and managing creator partnerships.

  • Client Strategy & Relationship Management
    • Act as the strategic marketing lead for key client accounts.

    • Work directly with clients to define marketing strategies and growth initiatives.

    • Present performance insights, campaign strategies, and growth plans to clients.

    • Ensure client campaigns achieve agreed performance metrics and revenue targets.

    • Identify opportunities to expand client revenue and marketing initiatives.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Monitor marketing performance using data-driven insights.

    • Establish clear KPIs and performance benchmarks across marketing channels.

    • Translate complex data into actionable strategies and clear presentations.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration
    • Work closely with data, operations, sales, and product teams to improve marketing performance.

    • Improve data visibility and reporting systems to support faster decision making.

    • Present marketing insights and growth strategies to leadership.

  • Marketing Systems & Scalability
    • Build scalable marketing processes and systems to support multiple brands simultaneously.

    • Develop frameworks for rapid experimentation and performance testing.

    • Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency in marketing workflows.

  • Success Metrics

    Success in this role will be measured by:

    • Growth of GMV across client and internal brands

    • Marketing ROI and acquisition efficiency

    • Performance of content, creators, and live commerce channels

    • Ability to launch and scale new brands successfully

    • Strength of client relationships and client revenue growth

  • Requirements
    • Proven experience in marketing leadership within social commerce or e-commerce environments.

    • Strong hands-on experience with TikTok Shop, Shopee, or social commerce platforms.

    • Deep understanding of creator ecosystems, affiliate marketing, and live commerce sales models.

    • Experience working with D2C brands or agencies supporting D2C brands.

    • Strong understanding of performance marketing, content strategy, and data analytics.

    • Experience managing multiple brands or clients simultaneously.

    • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Preferred Candidates

    Candidates who have successfully scaled brands through TikTok Shop, Shopee, or social commerce ecosystems will be strongly preferred.

    Experience building or managing affiliate-driven sales ecosystems is highly valued.
