Job Description:
- To assist in the development of a network strategy and associate policies and plans.
- In coordination with IT team, to ensure that hardware, software and other components for the company operational business are properly selected, developed, implemented, tested and deployed.
- Responsible for monitoring systems to detect deficiencies and recommending changes and solutions.
- Estimating resource requirements and implementation costs.
- Present to Management with proposals or presentations identifying system needs and outlining return on investment.
- Supervise system support specialists, providing direction and guidance.
- To be responsible for an integrated data and service desk that supports the changing and developing needs of company.
- To ensure the provision and maintenance of operational IT Data Center (on-premises and on-cloud) & services, that are secure, reliable and high available.
- To ensure that the network adheres to relevant standards.
- To be responsible for budget management for the network infrastructure service.
- To lead on the development of the network, including procurement, futureproofing and options development and appraisal.
- To adopt and comply with the Information Security and the other related security guidelines and policies; and align them in the local IT Standard Operating Procedure and Policies,
- To plan, design and install new network solutions, consultants and suppliers so that the solutions meet identified requirements, budgets and timescales.
- To work at a variety of sites as required to deliver the role.
- To manage, develop and train staff within the infrastructure team, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to deliver a high-quality service to agreed standards.
- To engage with IT vendors in the need of external resources. To evaluates vendor proposals of software, hardware and technical services to assure adherence to specifications of the business requirements.
- To control the IT asset inventory and software license use including the keeping and updating of asset/license records and perform the regular checks.
- To ensure technical documentations are properly written and updated by keeping all necessary technical records and change histories in a detail and clear fashion.
- To establish a Disaster Recovery (DR) site or a backup site, to ensure continuous and success systems and data replication from the primary Data Center to the DR site in the form of offline backup/restore or online replication.
- To plan and supervise the regular DR drill/test to ensure the DR site is capable to operate well during the disaster.
- To actively engage in the internal/external audit processes and to follow up actions in any finding and remediation from audit results.
Requirements :
- Bachelor/Master Degree, major : Information Technology
- Minimum of 10 years, with minimum of 5 years in managerial level
- Certification related to IT (e.g. network, hardware, security)
