Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience 10–17 years in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and cloud security architecture.
- Team leadership, stakeholder management, crisis management, and the ability to translate tech-speak for the Board.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional preferred.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Roadmap Development: Define the one year strategy for cloud migration, data center management, and edge computing.
- Financial Oversight: Manage CapEx and OpEx budgets, optimizing cloud spend (FinOps) and vendor contracts.
- Team Building: Lead and mentor diverse teams across DevOps, SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), Network Engineering, and Security Operations.
2.Architecture & Operations
- Scalability: Ensure the infrastructure can handle rapid user growth and peak traffic periods without performance degradation.
- Reliability: Maintain (99.99%) availability through robust disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning.
- Modernization: Cloud-native, containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Implement IT service management practices including incident management, change management, and service monitoring.
3.Security & Compliance
- Governance: Partner with the CISO to implement rigorous security protocols, identity management, and encryption standards.
- Compliance: Ensure infrastructure meets industry-specific standards such as ISO 27001 and regional regulatory standards.
- Endpoint Management: Operate device management platforms (MDM) supporting secure provisioning, patching, and configuration of corporate devices.
- Zero Trust Enablement: Implement infrastructure capabilities supporting Zero Trust architecture, including identity-aware networking, device trust integration, and secure service-to-service authentication.
