KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Cloud Infrastructure & Security
- Own the architecture, reliability, and security of our entire Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
- Define and enforce cloud governance, IAM policies, network design, and cost optimization strategies.
- Lead incident response, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or industry-specific frameworks). System Architecture & Technical Decisions
- Define and evolve the technical architecture across all products and internal systems.
- Establish engineering standards, design patterns, code review practices, and technical documentation guidelines.
- Make build-vs-buy decisions, evaluate new technologies, and approve major technical changes.
- Drive technical due diligence for vendor selection, integrations, and third-party services. Team Leadership & Hiring
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams: software engineers (PHP/Laravel, Node.js), DevOps/cloud engineers, QA, and internal IT support.
- Build hiring pipelines, conduct technical interviews, and grow the team's technical capability.
- Establish performance management, career development frameworks, and engineering culture.
- Foster a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
Roadmap & Business Alignment
- Partner with the CTO and executive team to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps.
- Align engineering priorities with product, sales, and operational goals.
- Communicate technical strategy, progress, and risks clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage IT budget, vendor contracts, and resource allocation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a Head of IT, Engineering Manager, or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — including Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM, VPC networking, Cloud Storage, and operational tooling.
- Strong background in cloud security — IAM design, secrets management, network segmentation, vulnerability management, and security audits.
- Proven track record in system architecture for production-grade web applications and distributed systems.
- Hands-on technical proficiency with PHP (Laravel) and Node.js — able to review code, design schemas, and engage substantively in technical discussions.
- Solid grasp of DevOps practices — CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent), containerization (Docker), and observability (logging, monitoring, alerting).
- Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary technical teams (engineering, DevOps, QA, IT support) of meaningful size.
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking — able to balance technical depth with business pragmatism.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, comfortable presenting to executives, clients, and technical teams.
