Job Description

Job Summary

As the Head of FWA Device & Supply Chain Management, you are a senior business executive accountable for the largest single cost driver on the FWA P&L: the device portfolio. This role owns the end-to-end hardware business strategy, from defining the device roadmap to meet diverse commercial needs to commanding a national supply chain that ensures availability. You will be responsible for managing the significant device COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), optimizing inventory investment based on rigorous demand forecasting, and governing the performance of all external supply chain partners. This is a critical leadership role that directly shapes product-market fit, customer experience, and the ultimate profitability of the FWA business.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the FWA device portfolio strategy, defining the mix of devices (by cost, speed, features) required to meet commercial targets and managing the entire device COGS to optimize gross margin.
  • Define the strategic requirements for the device portfolio and act as the primary business partner to the central IOH Sourcing team to execute the sourcing strategy. Govern the performance of the local procurement partner to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
  • Lead the end-to-end supply planning and inventory strategy within the FWA Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle. Responsible for translating the commercial demand forecast into a master supply plan and optimizing the multi-million-dollar inventory investment.
  • Establish and govern the end-to-end device technology lifecycle, from leading the technical validation and quality assurance for new models to managing firmware roadmaps and end-of-life transitions.

Qualifications

  1. Proven executive experience leading a hardware product management, strategic supply chain, or commercial operations function with significant P&L and cost-management influence.
  2. Demonstrated track record of developing device/hardware portfolio strategies to meet diverse market needs.
  3. Deep expertise in demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory/working capital management within an S&OP framework.
  4. Experience defining strategic requirements and managing outcomes through a central procurement/sourcing function and external supply partners.
  5. A strong commercial leader with a deep understanding of how hardware strategy directly impacts business profitability and customer satisfaction.
