As a Head of Finance, your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Managing and optimising cash flow and financial resources.
- Preparing accurate financial reports and presenting them to senior management.
- Supervising and mentoring the accounting and finance team.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving financial performance.
- Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Profile
A Successful Head Of Finance Should Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 10-15 years of experience in a global retail or FMCG company. Prior Big 4 experience is a plus.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.
- Experience in the retail industry is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- English fluency is a must.
