Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the company and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Involve and support charting the strategic direction of the Company and ensure effective of operational financial planning, monitoring and management reporting to drive better decision-making process of the senior management team
- Establish an effective system to collect the updated key planning/forecast financial information to produce a robust outlook P&L and prepare a quality COI projection, managing the risks and opportunities with the support from management team
- Leading in review and analysis of financial results and business trends & monitoring of expenses
- Produce a robust and insightful monthly management reports to support management understanding on business trends, results and progress of key business strategies/decisions.
- Leading and produce a robust long range business planning, Annual Operating Plan, quarterly projection and ad hoc projection
- Review monthly financial review to identify the key financial insights, identify risks and opportunity and ensure resources are optimized & COI is protected/improved, eg.
- Review monthly variance, I.e. Actual vs projection, vs Plan vs Last year, be able to generate insights and partner with sales/marketing to protect/improve profitability
- Review Cost of sales analysis and project P/L
- Perform review after closing on key variances to understand the insights, as well as ensure key information has been captured and errors in the posting is identified for rectification
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, compliance and risks.
- Drive process improvement action plans to increase productivity/automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (master's degree or CPA/CFA is a plus).
- Minimum 710 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- The ability to align financial strategy with business goals
