Role Description The Head of Finance Department is a full-time, on-site role based at Mayapada Hospital in Surabaya. This position leads the overall financial management of the hospital, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Daily responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting and statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, and monitoring cash flow and working capital. The role coordinates with senior leadership and other departments to optimize resource allocation, support cost control initiatives, and maintain financial sustainability. The Head of Finance Department also manages and mentors the finance team, implements robust internal controls, and supports external audits and accreditation-related financial requirements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements.
- Experience implementing and maintaining internal controls, compliance with healthcare and financial regulations, and risk management practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel or similar analytical tools.
- Proven leadership abilities, including team management, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in hospital, healthcare, or large-scale service organizations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Surabaya and adapt to a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment.
