Job Description

MidPlaza Holding is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Finance, Accounting, & Tax for one of our business units. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance. You will lead a team of financial professionals, ensuring that the company's financial objectives are met, and that best practices in financial management are maintained. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of finance and accounting principles, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and regulations
  • Manage the budgeting process and provide insights through financial analysis and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and lead the preparation of tax returns, managing interactions with tax authorities
  • Establish and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting
  • Lead the finance team, providing mentorship and support to enhance their skills and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and profitability across the organization
  • Serve as a key business partner to senior management, providing financial insights and recommendations for strategic decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 8 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax law
  • Experienced in accounting firm
  • Demonstrated experience in managing financial teams and leading financial strategy within an organization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
