Job Summary:
The Head of Facility Management is responsible for overseeing the hospital's entire physical infrastructure, maintenance, security, environmental services, and strategic facility planning. Given the hospital's specialization in infectious diseases, the role requires strict compliance with biosafety regulations, infection control measures, and emergency preparedness. This position involves high-level coordination with senior hospital leadership, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure the hospital's facilities operate at optimal efficiency while adhering to national and international healthcare facility standards. We are looking for a motivated Head of Facility Management who is assisting, guiding, and supervising the resident Head of Facility Management in this position to develop the required skills for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Facility Planning & Operations:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies for hospital facility management, ensuring sustainability and efficiency.
- Oversee all maintenance and infrastructure operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems.
- Ensure full compliance with national and international healthcare facility regulations, including infection control and safety measures.
- Plan and execute facility expansions, renovations, and new hospital infrastructure projects.
- Leadership & Department Oversight:
- Supervise multiple departments, including maintenance, security, environmental services, and utilities management.
- Set performance standards and goals for facility teams, ensuring alignment with hospital objectives.
- Lead facility-related emergency response and crisis management initiatives.
Safety, Compliance & Infection Control:
- Ensure the hospital complies with all health and safety regulations, fire safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Oversee hospital-wide infection control measures, including proper biohazard containment and waste disposal.
- Develop hospital policies on facility management, ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols.
- Coordinate audits and inspections to maintain accreditation and licensing standards.
Budgeting & Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the facility management budget, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining operational excellence.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs to reduce hospital operating costs.
- Oversee procurement, vendor negotiations, and contract management for facility-related services.
Emergency Preparedness & Risk Management:
- Develop and implement hospital-wide emergency preparedness plans, including evacuation procedures and biohazard containment strategies.
- Ensure facility resilience in the event of natural disasters, pandemics, or critical infrastructure failures.
- Work with hospital leadership to enhance ICU and isolation ward capacity in times of crisis.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in healthcare facility management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong expertise in hospital infrastructure systems, healthcare facility regulations, and infection control protocols.
- Experience managing large teams, including maintenance, housekeeping, security, and emergency response personnel.
- Certification in Facility Management, Health & Safety, or Infection Control is a plus.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is required; English proficiency is an advantage.
