All about the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic D2C & E- commerce Manager who will be a strong contributor in developing and growing our Direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales. You will be part of the Country Leadership team and lead our D2C & E-commerce team on an exciting journey to drive growth and create a unique experience for our consumers.

The D2C Ecom team is primarily responsible for the direct-to-consumer (D2C) business through Electrolux.com, E-commerce marketplace partners (Tokopedia, Shopee, Lazada, Blibli, JD.id), and focused channels (partnerships, warehouses, contact center, staff and friends& family sales). Ecom is a pivotal growth engine for the Thailand market.

You are an expert in driving D2C e-commerce business in Marketplaces and Branded webstores in Indonesia Market. You have experience working in a multinational company, with functional stakeholders (especially with our E-commerce Regional team, based in Bangkok).

What youll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team to drive growth and create differentiation to our consumers in their online purchasing journey
  • Drive transformation initiatives, focusing on operational excellence, data driven decisions, and unique consumer experience through our innovation and brand
  • Oversee the full P&L by optimizing volume, mix and expenses (up to Ebit level)
  • Define and deploy Strategic and Joint Business Plan with our online partners with mid-term vision
  • Experiment and deploy initiatives in liaise with the E-com regional team

Key activities

Ecommerce performance

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and increase online market share (GFK)
  • Monitor and analyze Weekly/Monthly Ecommerce performance, gathering insights from the teams and define priority actions
  • Collect and analyze data from online platforms (in cooperation with Ecommerce Analytics & BI)
  • Guide and direct the team to build activation plans for growth, in coordination with the Regional E-com team and Marketing teams
  • Manage product and service offerings, working with the Product Lines team to create the best assortments by platform and product categories (e.g. pricing, product information, SKU management, after-sales support, inventory)
  • Provide market intelligence and monitor consumer trends

Ecommerce Content/Campaigns

  • Execute and optimize planned promotions, configuring eCommerce websites, and requesting content updates based on previous learnings to ensure optimization of sales and margin for the channel
  • Monitor promotions daily, working closely with marketing to fine-tune and drive conversion
  • Collaborate with internal teams & agencies on ROI optimization for off-site/on-site activities
  • Implement and monitor aligned pricing strategies defined by the Product line teams

Operational Excellence

  • Provide sales plan and forecast monthly to the Sales operation team (Demand and Supply planning)
  • Support projects on optimization & automation of logistics & operations (especially through digitalization and CRM)
  • Continuously seek opportunities to simplify processes and enhance team to focus on what matters most

Platforms/Brands Partnerships

  • Lead key account negotiations with the team
  • Develop and execute Joint-Business-Plans (JBP) with key accounts, closely steering the team to deliver milestones
  • Represent Electrolux at meetings and/or special functions whenever necessary

Who you are:

  • Minimum bachelors degree (masters degree preferable)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably gained in household appliances or from FMCG and/or appliance industry in online D2C Indonesia; 3 years of which in a managerial level. The candidate fwith top Chinese brand experiences is a plus
  • Strong business acumen, with understanding of both online and offline businesses
  • Good command in English, with experience working closely with regional stakeholders
  • Leadership: Team & Relation building, Coaching, Implementation, Communication
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of consumer behavior and customer-centric eCom strategies.
  • Marketing Expertise: Good understanding in D2C marketing, including both online and offline channels.
  • Selling skills: Negotiation, Sales Planning, Product Planning, Market intelligence
