Key Accountabilities

Head of DPLK Business will be responsible for strategy, management, operations, and governance of Eastspring Indonesia Pension Fund Business (DPLK).

This role will oversee the strategy execution/business development through different channels and strategic partnership (agency, brokers, group benefits or direct sales), and AUM growth of DPLK Business, while ensuring full regulatory compliance and governance

Leadership & Governance

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the DPLK in accordance with Eastspring Indonesia strategy, the Pension Fund Regulation (Peraturan Dana Pensiun / PDP) and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of good pension fund governance, internal controls, and risk management.
  • Represent the Pension Fund as Pengurus 1, and in dealings with regulators, founders, and key stakeholders.
  • Set the strategic direction and key policies of the DPLK, including business and marketing strategies.
  • Sign agreements, reports, and official documents on behalf of the Pension Fund.
  • Allocate resources to support growth, compliance, and operational effectiveness within approved authority limits.

Business Strategy, Sales & Marketing


  • Define and oversee the business and growth strategy of the DPLK, including expansion of clients and participants, flows, and long‑term AUM growth.
  • Direct and control sales and marketing activities to ensure they are conducted ethically, transparently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials and distribution activities are accurate, educational, and not misleading, with a strong focus on suitability and participant understanding.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships and distribution channels to support sustainable growth.

Operations & Investment Oversight


  • Maintain overall accountability for operational performance, service quality, and operational resilience of the Pension Fund.
  • Liaise with the Investment Team to ensure the implementation of investment policies in line with applicable investment regulations and the prudent person principle.
  • Ensure alignment between business growth objectives and operational and investment capabilities.

Regulatory, Reporting & Stakeholder Management


  • Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent reporting to the Board of Supervisors, the Founder, and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
  • Maintain constructive relationships with regulators, auditors, investment managers, custodians, and other key service providers.
  • Ensure that participants rights and interests are prioritised in all business, investment, and marketing decisions.
  • Oversee fair, accurate, and timely administration of pension benefits and participant services.
