We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Demand Planning for our client in the FMCG industry. With over 15 years of experience in the FMCG sector, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading and managing demand planning, supply chain, and distribution operations. This is a high-level strategic role that requires a strong leader with exceptional analytical skills, business acumen, and experience in managing complex supply chains and national distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead S&OP to align demand, supply, inventory & distribution across functions
- Drive forecast accuracy via statistical models & commercial alignment; manage multi-site supply (high OTIF, low obsolete)
- Optimize inventory & national distribution, handling high SKU complexity efficiently
- Leverage analytics, big data & Excel; SAP/APO/IBP preferred
- Lead & develop team; strong stakeholder management (sales, marketing, production, logistics)
- Track KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and support budgeting & P&L
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years experience in demand planning and supply chain within the FMCG industry
- Proven track record leading S&OP and end-to-end planning operations
- Advanced Excel proficiency with SAP/APO/IBP preferred
- Strong expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and data-driven analytics
- Experience managing national distribution networks and high SKU complexity
- Strong leadership managing managers with excellent stakeholder management and solid P&L acumen
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
