PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is seeking a highly accomplished and forward-thinking leader to assume the role of Head of Business Solutions. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and executing BRI's strategic direction in delivering comprehensive transaction banking solutions to corporate and institutional clients.
The Head of Business Solutions will lead a high-performing sales organization focused on driving growth across cash management, trade finance, and liquidity solutions. This position requires an individual with deep expertise in transaction banking, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to expand market presenceparticularly within the multinational and large domestic corporate segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the sales strategy and business plan for the Wholesale Transaction Banking segment.
- Identify target markets, client segments, and cross- border opportunities to expand transaction banking revenues.
- Drive strategic collaboration across product, coverage, and regional teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue, balance sheet, and fee income targets.
- Oversee client acquisition and wallet penetration across cash, liquidity, and trade products.
- Manage sales pipelines, track performance metrics, and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure disciplined pricing, structuring, and risk- return alignment of all sales activities.
- Maintain and expand strategic relationships with top-tier multinational and large corporate clients.
- Engage directly with CFOs, Treasurers, and senior decision-makers to identify and deliver value-added transaction banking solutions.
- Partner with Relationship Managers and Product teams to deliver integrated banking solutions tailored to client needs.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Sales team to strengthen product expertise and client management skills.
- Foster a client-centric and performance-driven culture emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Support talent development and succession planning within the team.
- Ensure adherence to the bank's risk appetite, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Promote strong governance in sales processes, documentation, and client onboarding.
- Identify and manage operational and reputational risks associated with transaction banking activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in banking, with at least 5 years in client-facing functions such as sales or relationship management.
- Proven track record in Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Trade Finance, or Corporate Banking, serving multinational or large corporate clients.
- Strong knowledge of wholesale banking products, including cash management, liquidity, FX, and trade solutions.
- Deep understanding of corporate treasury needs, payment and collection systems, regulatory frameworks, and cross-border liquidity management.
- Familiar with digital transaction banking platforms, API-based solutions, and emerging fintech innovations. Knowledge of regional and global transaction banking markets, particularly within Asia-Pacific or other emerging market.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required; proficiency in other languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean is preferable.
