The Head of Business Expansion is responsible for driving the Company's growth through outlet expansion, business development, strategic partnerships, and new business initiatives. This role will identify, evaluate, and execute expansion opportunities across restaurant, catering, and other emerging business units while ensuring sustainable profitability and alignment with the Company's long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities
1. Expansion Strategy & Growth Planning
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term business expansion strategies.
- Identify growth opportunities across existing and new business channels.
- Prepare annual and multi-year expansion roadmaps.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify expansion potential.
- Recommend expansion priorities based on business potential, strategic fit, and financial feasibility.
2. New Outlet Development
- Lead end-to-end outlet expansion projects from site identification to opening.
- Evaluate potential locations through demographic, traffic, and commercial analysis.
- Conduct feasibility studies and financial projections for new outlets.
- Support lease negotiations and coordinate with landlords, developers, and property owners.
- Ensure all expansion projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships that support revenue growth.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, property developers, event organizers, institutions, and commercial partners.
- Explore new sales channels and business opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership arrangements.
4. New Business Development
- Research, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities beyond the existing restaurant business.
- Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Prepare business cases and recommendations for investment decisions.
- Monitor performance of new ventures and recommend scale-up or improvement plans.
5. Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Lead strategic expansion projects involving multiple departments.
- Coordinate Operations, Marketing, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to management.
6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor expansion performance against approved targets.
- Analyze ROI, payback period, and profitability of expansion initiatives.
- Prepare business performance reports, feasibility studies, and strategic recommendations for management.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field. Master's Degree (MBA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Business Development, Expansion, Commercial, Strategy, or related functions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing outlet expansion, business development, or growth projects.
- Experience in Restaurant, F&B Retail, Franchise, or Multi-Unit Businesses is a must have criteria.
- Experience handling multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
