HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

THE ROLE

A rare strategic leadership opportunity in a growing TIC company with an internationally

educated leadership team and global ambitions.

This is not a traditional BD position. You will architect the company's growth strategy

for Indonesia and international markets, build high-value government and corporate

relationships, assess strategic alliances and partnerships, and lead AI-supported

feasibility studies — with the rigour to personally verify and own every output.

Top management is deeply connected, shares executive education materials (including

Harvard case studies), and will present strategic deal flow to the right person.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and own the 3-year commercial growth strategy — Indonesia + international

• Develop strategic alliances, JV partnerships, and expansion opportunities

• Build government relationships: ministries, regulatory bodies, procurement channels

• Lead feasibility studies: market sizing, financial modelling, risk assessment

• Own revenue: pricing strategy, pipeline management, high-value negotiations

• Build and lead the BD team from scratch

REQUIREMENTS

• 8–12 years in business development, strategy consulting, or commercial leadership

• Government relations experience in Indonesia (ministries, regulators, procurement)

• Builds financial models independently — projections, ROI, sensitivity analysis

• Uses AI as a research and analysis tool; verifies every output with rigour

• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia + professional English (both mandatory)

• MBA or international degree preferred; consulting background is a strong advantage

• Character: intellectually curious, values-driven, detail-oriented, fully accountable
