Job Description
- Responsible for production of Ammonia in terms of quality and quantity. Managing and leading the personnel in our Ammonia & Utilities production team with respect to attendance, leaves, roster planning, allocation, utilization, evaluation, development, emergency management etc.
- Establishment and maintenance of effective communication and workflow with other departments of the organization with a goal to meet the performance commitments/KPIs.
- As leader Implementation of Operation Processes, Procedures & Working Documents and their further optimization, correction and improvement.
- Identification of Operations Risk Analysis & Mitigation.
- Timely corrective and preventive actions against any deviations from standard Mass & Energy Balance.
- Ensuring NO deviations from compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Program in Ammonia and all sections of Utilities & Offsites.
- Preparation and follow up for yearly budget. Plan, Monitor & Control annual expenditure, optimize expenses without adversely affecting performance.
- Responsible for compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, standards, regulations and laws.
- Communication with Ammonia Technology supplier KBR
- Communication with vendors for services like chemical treatment, technical evaluation of catalyst etc.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate/Graduate in Chemical Engineering
- More than 25 years in similar Ammonia plant of KBR Purifier Technology for lower qualification personal
- Understand Ammonia plant operations and guide Ammonia and Utility teams
- Strong QHSE exposure, specially process safety management.
- Strong analytical skill related to chemical process plant.
- Ability to communicate (written and verbal) in English
- ISO-9001, ISO-14001, OHSAS-18001, British Safety Council audit system etc. related to QHSE
- Principles of Pump, Fan, Compressor, Turbine, Boiler, Furnaces etc.
