Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee full-cycle accounting activities, including AP, AR, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Manage monthly and annual closing processes and review key journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare, review, and validate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with PSAK.
  • Perform and review bank reconciliation, inventory reconciliation, and asset register accuracy.
  • Ensure tax compliance in coordination with the Tax team (VAT, Withholding Tax, Monthly & Annual Reports).
  • Serve as the primary PIC for internal and external audits, and drive corrective actions to closure.
  • Develop and implement accounting SOPs, internal controls, and approval workflows to support effective governance.
  • Optimize the use of the accounting system (Accurate) and drive continuous improvement in process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, PPIC, Warehouse, and Operational teams to ensure data integrity and cost control.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Accounting team to build capability, accuracy, and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA or Brevet A & B certification is a plus).
  • 710 years of progressive accounting experience, with minimum 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of PSAK, internal controls, financial reporting, and audit standards.
  • Solid experience in costing, inventory accounting, and fixed asset managementpreferably in manufacturing or building materials industry.
  • Proven experience managing monthly and annual closing cycles and preparing full financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance (VAT, Withholding Tax, Monthly and Annual reporting).
  • Hands-on experience using accounting systems (experience with Accurate is an advantage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • High integrity, ownership mindset, and capability to work under deadlines and changing priorities.
