Role Description The Head Mixologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Denpasar, responsible for leading the bar program at Noema Resort Pererenan. This role oversees daily bar operations, including preparing and serving cocktails, curating beverage menus, and ensuring consistent drink quality and presentation. The Head Mixologist trains and mentors bar staff, establishes service standards, and collaborates with the culinary team to develop signature cocktails that complement the food offerings. Day-to-day tasks include managing inventory, monitoring bar costs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and delivering attentive, personalized guest service. The Head Mixologist also contributes to beverage promotions and events to elevate the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Food & Beverage and Culinary Skills relevant to mixology, including knowledge of spirits, cocktail techniques, and flavor pairing.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication abilities to engage guests, manage feedback, and coordinate with team members.
  • Demonstrated experience in Training bar staff, setting service standards, and supporting skill development within the team.
  • Previous leadership experience in a bar or luxury hospitality environment, preferably as a head mixologist or bar manager.
  • Understanding of inventory management, cost control, and basic POS operations.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by resort operations.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
