We're Hiring: Head Barista Join Mad For Coffee and lead our barista team in serving up dairy-free coffee with heart and excellence.
As Head Barista, you'll be at the core of our daily operations making great drinks, supporting the team, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the bar.
What You'll Do:- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Lead and support the barista team during daily operations
- Train and mentor new baristas; ensure consistency in service and quality
- Monitor and update stock levels; handle ordering and supplier coordination
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and seating area
- Recommend menu items, take orders, and handle payments
- Schedule shifts and ensure team coverage
- Collaborate with management on new menu items or seasonal offerings
- Manage daily sales reporting and light administrative tasks
- Resolve customer concerns with a friendly and professional attitude
- Work 6 days a week
What We're Looking For:- Minimum 2 years of barista experience; leadership experience is a plus
- Strong coffee-making skills with attention to detail
- Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Good communication and basic English conversation skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Confident in leading a small team and working independently
- Passionate about plant-based coffee and sustainability
