The Guest Service Officer – Japanese Speaking is a central part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience. Respond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests. Add personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons policies.
About the role:
The Guest Service Officer – Japanese Speaking welcomes guests to the property, providing an exceptional guest experience at check-in, during the guest's stay and on departure. This role works to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction during their arrival and departure, plus responding to a wide variety of guest requests, assessing guest needs, adding personal recommendations, and aligning with Four Seasons service standards. This role is part of the Front Office Department, reporting into the Front Office Manager.
What you will do:
• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Assists guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
• Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interactions with guest will be in person and by phone.
• Resolves guest complaints, and find opportunities to recognize and personalize the service.
• Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests. It includes Golden, Opera, FS Chat and phone system.
What you bring:
• One + years experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment.
• Proficient in English and Japanese, both spoken and written.
• Positive attitude, creativity, resourcefulness, detail-orientation, service-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Guest centricity and understanding the importance of guest's preferences.
• Strong computer skills, including a knowledge of Opera.
• Bachelor's degree or Minimum of Diploma.
