Role Description Guest Relations - Mandarin Speaker is a full-time, on-site role based at Regent Bali Canggu in Bali, Indonesia. This role focuses on welcoming guests, providing personalized assistance, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience, particularly for Mandarin-speaking guests. Daily tasks include handling guest inquiries, managing reservations and special requests, coordinating with front office, concierge, and other departments, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. The associate will assist with check-in and check-out procedures, support lobby and reception operations, and help communicate resort offerings, local attractions, and services. Maintaining accurate guest records, following brand standards, and contributing to a warm, respectful, and culturally sensitive atmosphere are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin and English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are an advantage.
  • Guest service and hospitality skills, including relationship building, problem-solving, and handling guest feedback with professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and courteously with guests and colleagues.
  • Organization and administrative skills, including managing reservations, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with multiple departments.
  • Previous experience in luxury hotels or resorts, front office, or guest relations is preferred.
  • Comfort with basic hotel systems and office software; ability to learn property management and reservation tools.
  • Professional appearance, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent relevant experience.
