With two hangars located in Indonesia, we are actively seeking exceptional individuals to join our MRO family. We are currently looking for an experienced GSE Tool Keeper Team Leader, with the opportunity to work in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport – Tangerang Hangar, Indonesia
YOUR TASKS:
Tool Control System:
- Lead and supervise daily tool room operations.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly controlled, identified, calibrated (where applicable), and available for operational use.
- Maintain an effective tool control system to prevent tool loss, damage, or Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliation of tools and equipment.
Aircraft Equipment Management:
- Maintain proper storage, handling, and preservation of GSE tools and aircraft maintenance equipment.
- Monitor the serviceability and condition of tools and arrange repair or replacement when required.
- Ensure all equipment complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Technical Knowledge:
- Demonstrate a good understanding of various aircraft maintenance tools and Ground Support Equipment.
- Understand aircraft maintenance documentation, including Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM)
- Support technicians by ensuring the correct tools are available according to maintenance requirements.
Audit & Regulatory Compliance:
- Prepare the tool room for internal, customer, and aviation authority audits.
- Maintain documentation and records in compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions promptly.
Administration & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and orderly records of tool issuance, returns, calibration status, repairs, and inventory.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, updated, and easily traceable.
- Prepare periodic reports on tool utilization, discrepancies, and inventory status.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise, guide, and develop Tool Keeper personnel.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Promote teamwork and continuous improvement within the tool control function.
Safety & Quality:
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe tool storage areas.
- Support quality initiatives to prevent tool-related incidents and operational disruptions.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or tool control.
- Strong knowledge of tool control systems and tool inventory management.
- Good understanding of aircraft maintenance tools, ground support equipment (GSE), and aviation tooling.
- Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), and manufacturer platforms such as Boeing Toolbox and AirbusWorld.
- Experience supporting or participating in internal and external audits.
- Excellent administrative, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory management systems.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet operational deadlines.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
- Willing to be assigned to either Denpasar (DPS) or Jakarta (CGK) based on operational requirements.
