The Opportunity

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Associate (Creators & Photographers) to help us acquire and activate more users across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on organic, content‑driven growth.

Your primary focus will be to:

  1. drive qualified photographers and creators to discover Gump and KaChick, and
  2. turn that interest into sign‑ups and activated users through social, content, SEO, and KOL/KOC collaborations.

Paid campaigns are a plus, but not the main focus at this stage. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys testing ideas, creating content, talking to creators, and using data to scale what works.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Acquisition & Growth

  • Plan and execute growth campaigns to acquire photographers and creators across key Southeast Asia markets.
  • Drive user acquisition through a mix of organic channels (Instagram, TikTok, Threads, communities, content, SEO) and selective paid experiments where relevant.
  • Define and monitor core growth metrics (traffic, sign‑ups, cost per lead, cost per activated user) and regularly report learnings and next steps.

2. Social & Community Marketing (IG, TikTok, Threads)

  • Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, TikTok, Threads, and other relevant platforms with content that speaks to photographers, creators, and travelers.
  • Test different content formats (short videos, carousels, threads, mini case studies) to drive reach, engagement, and click‑through to our products.
  • Participate in and leverage online communities and groups to drive awareness in an authentic, non‑spammy way.

3. KOL / KOC & Creator Collaborations

  • Identify and reach out to suitable KOLs, KOCs, and creators (especially photographers and travel storytellers) in key markets.
  • Support and run small KOL/creator campaigns: co‑created content, promo codes, feature highlights, or simple joint activations.
  • Track performance of these collaborations (reach, engagement, sign‑ups, activations) and recommend what to repeat, scale, or stop.

4. Content & SEO

  • Contribute to our content strategy by planning and producing blogs, guides, landing page copy, and simple resources that attract and educate target users.
  • Apply basic SEO best practices (topics, keywords, on‑page structure, internal links) so content can be discovered and perform over time.
  • Turn real user and community insights into content ideas that answer the questions and problems faced by photographers and travelers.

5. Experiments, Analysis & Collaboration

  • Run structured experiments (A/B tests on messages, creatives, audiences, and channels) and document what worked and what didn't.
  • Set up simple tracking and dashboards/spreadsheets to follow the full funnel from impression to activated user.
  • Collaborate closely with founders, product, and customer success to:
  • Align on ideal photographer/creator profiles and priority markets.
  • Understand which features are ready to push at scale versus still in feedback stage.
  • Feed insights from campaigns back into product and positioning.

What You Bring

  • 1–3 years of experience in growth, digital marketing, or performance/content marketing at a startup, SaaS company, creator platform, or agency.
  • Hands‑on experience with social channels like Instagram and TikTok (and ideally Threads or similar discussion‑style platforms).
  • Familiarity with KOL/KOC or creator marketing: identifying, approaching, and collaborating with influencers/creators.
  • Strong written communication skills; you can create clear, engaging copy for social posts, landing pages, and basic blog content.
  • Data‑aware mindset: you are comfortable looking at numbers, drawing conclusions, and suggesting next steps.
  • Bonus: experience working with photographers/creators, travel brands, or Southeast Asia markets.
  • Interest in photography, travel, or the creator economy.
