Job Description

About KaChick

KaChick is building tools and experiences that help people create, capture, and keep meaningful memories.

For photographers, KaChick helps reduce repetitive customer-enquiry work through a smart AI Assistant that can use their business information—such as services, packages, pricing, locations, policies, portfolio links, and common FAQs—to support customer conversations and guide people toward booking.

KaChick is also building a platform where photographers can turn their craft and local knowledge into discoverable, bookable photo experiences for travellers, families, couples, and visitors.

Our belief is simple:

Technology should make more room for human moments. We automate the boring. Not the love.

We are beginning with selected cities across Asia, including Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Our immediate focus is building a high-quality community of photographers, helping them get value from KaChick, making real experiences customer-ready, and using genuine creator stories to grow demand.

The role

We are looking for a proactive, organised, and people-oriented Growth & Community Associate with around 2–3 years of relevant experience.

You will work directly with the founder to help KaChick launch and grow products for photographers and customers. Your core work will include photographer outreach, community building, onboarding, product-launch coordination, social and content support, customer feedback, and growth operations.

This is not a pure social-media role. It is also not a traditional Product Manager role focused only on roadmaps and engineering tickets.

You will help move people through the KaChick journey:

Awareness → conversation → sign-up → setup → active use → referral and advocacy

You will be successful if you can make the founder and wider team move faster: keeping launch work organised, speaking directly with photographers, finding problems early, following up reliably, helping users get value, and turning real feedback into practical next steps.

What you will do

Photographer growth and community

  • Research and build a pipeline of high-quality photographers across priority markets and categories.
  • Identify suitable photographers through Instagram, portfolios, referrals, local communities, creator networks, directories, and relevant online channels.
  • Conduct personalised outreach through Instagram DM, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or other approved channels.
  • Clearly explain KaChick's value to photographers, including the AI Assistant, enquiry support, booking/inquiry pathways, photographer tools, promotion opportunities, and future photo-experience ecosystem.
  • Manage outreach follow-ups, replies, qualification, applications, onboarding calls, and relationship tracking.
  • Help recruit and activate selected Founding Photographers.
  • Build trusted relationships with photographers so that they become active users, feedback partners, content collaborators, and referral sources.
  • Support community activities such as photographer Spotlights, Instagram Collabs, feedback sessions, referral programmes, testimonials, and early-adopter communications.

Photographer onboarding and activation

  • Help photographers move from first interest to a useful, complete KaChick setup.
  • Guide photographers to provide the right information for their profile and AI Assistant, including services, packages, prices, booking policies, locations, delivery details, availability rules, portfolio links, FAQs, and useful customer information.
  • Support the preparation of customer-ready photo experiences where applicable, including a clear offer, target customer, package details, images, guides, and booking/inquiry route.
  • Run structured follow-ups to ensure photographers complete the critical setup steps.
  • Test user flows with photographers and identify unclear instructions, missing information, broken links, user-experience problems, and recurring objections.
  • Collect photographer feedback and turn it into clear product, onboarding, FAQ, content, and launch recommendations.
  • Help improve the time from photographer sign-up to active use.

Product launch and operations

  • Support the founder in preparing and executing KaChick product launches, feature releases, photographer campaigns, and market experiments.
  • Convert strategic direction into practical launch plans, checklists, deadlines, owners, dependencies, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain a master launch tracker covering product, design, development, content, outreach, onboarding, partnerships, and customer communications.
  • Help test product flows before launch, including signup, onboarding, AI Assistant setup, enquiry handling, booking/inquiry pathways, landing pages, forms, and links.
  • Ensure public-facing materials are accurate and do not promise features that are not stable or available.
  • Maintain a simple product-status tracker: live, testing, planned, and coming soon.
  • Coordinate routine launch work with designers, developers, freelance creators, photographers, and other collaborators.
  • Prepare concise weekly updates highlighting progress, customer insight, blockers, decisions needed, and next actions.

Social content and creator collaboration

  • Support the planning, preparation, scheduling, and publishing of KaChick content across Instagram, Stories, Reels, LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, and other relevant channels.
  • Turn product updates, photographer stories, customer questions, launch priorities, and founder direction into clear content briefs and draft captions.
  • Help manage KaChick's two key audiences:
  • Photographers: Tools, AI Assistant use cases, enquiry support, booking pathways, local knowledge, business growth, and photographer success stories.
  • Travellers/customers: Local photographers, photo experiences, real cities, booking confidence, guides, and meaningful moments.
  • Coordinate photographer Spotlights and Instagram Collabs, including permissions, asset collection, caption drafts, CTAs, links, posting dates, Story sharing, and early community engagement.
  • Monitor and respond to social comments, DMs, Story replies, and enquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate way.
  • Identify recurring questions or objections and use them to improve content, FAQs, onboarding, and product messaging.
  • upport a content system built around one audience, one core idea, and one clear CTA per post.

Growth tracking and customer insight

  • Maintain simple dashboards and trackers for outreach, onboarding, activation, content, and launch performance.
  • Track targeted photographer outreach, replies, qualified conversations, applications, setup calls, signup conversion, and activation progress.
  • Track content performance: reach, saves, shares, profile visits, comments, DMs, Story taps, link clicks, and Collab performance.
  • Track meaningful product and marketplace signals, such as profile views, experience views, enquiries, booking requests, active setup completion, and repeated customer questions.
  • Conduct lightweight customer and photographer research through calls, messages, surveys, and user observations.

What success looks like

Within the first few months, you will help KaChick become more consistent, focused, and easier to operate.

Success includes:

  • A clean, reliable system for launch tasks, owners, deadlines, assets, and follow-ups.
  • A growing and well-managed pipeline of relevant photographers.
  • More photographers moving from outreach to meaningful conversations, sign-up, completed setup, and active use.
  • Faster and clearer onboarding, with fewer repeated questions and blockers.
  • Better-quality product feedback from real photographers and customers.
  • More useful, consistent social content connected to actual product activity, real photographers, and clear conversion actions.
  • Stronger photographer relationships that create feedback, referrals, testimonials, content, and Collab opportunities.
  • The founder spending less time chasing operational details, following up manually, organising information, and coordinating routine launch tasks.

Who you are

Essential requirements

  • Around 2–3 years of relevant experience in growth, community, creator partnerships, customer success, startup operations, product marketing, digital marketing, marketplace operations, account management, project coordination, or a related role.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks, deadlines, trackers, and follow-ups at the same time.
  • Comfortable reaching out to people, starting conversations, and building relationships with photographers, creators, customers, and partners.
  • Able to write clear, friendly, personalised DMs, emails, social captions, onboarding messages, briefs, and FAQs.
  • Curious about users and able to identify practical insights from conversations, feedback, and data.
  • Comfortable working directly with a founder in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Willing to be hands-on: research a photographer, send a DM, test a user flow, chase an approval, draft a caption, update a tracker, organise a call, and summarise what you learned.
  • Strong interest in AI, photography, creator tools, travel, local experiences, marketplaces, social media, startups, or digital products.

Nice to have

  • Experience using Airtable, Notion, Asana, Google Workspace, Figma, Canva, CRM systems, social scheduling tools, analytics tools, or AI tools.
  • Ability to create basic visual content, prepare simple Canva assets, or edit short-form video.
  • Experience in Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, or broader APAC markets.
  • Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Bahasa Indonesia, or other relevant regional-language ability.
